L’amour ou le néant

The 50% of Ace of Base is back and it consists of the 100% of its masculine original line-up. Yes, that’s right, AOB is making its comeback and their most distinctive trait -their unforgettable vocalists- is no longer one of the ingredients. Still, the new members’ voices are well hidden beneath layers of well-produced electro-pop.

These guys spoiled us during the 90′s and it seems they’ll be keeping up with the tradition.

Don’t turn around, Alejandro

Many have said Alejandro plagiarizes 90′s hit Don’t Turn Around by Ace of Base. The similarities are evident but I don’t think it was done on purpose. Gaga‘s vision is absolutely different than Ace of Base‘s. Anyhow, I found a mash-up of both tracks produced by one of my fave DJs, Dark Intensity. It’s hot like Mexico; rejoice.
